Quick jump
Hello and welcome to this blog post about Decentraland MANA White Paper. I am very excited to know that you are interested in this amazing technology, you will be going to amazed by the incredible potential of the blockchain.
There is a lot to learn about this futuristic tech, lets get started to dive into the Decentraland MANA white paper and start to leverage it to build a more secure and trusted ecosystem for Industry 4.0 applications.
The aim of this blog post is to help you quickly understand about the philosophy behind the Decentraland (MANA).
I can ensue you that, you will be able to understand every bits and pieces related to Decentraland (MANA) after going through the Decentraland MANA white paper.
Without wasting any further time lets get started to dive right in and lets understand white paper first.
What is white paper?
A white paper is an informational, influential, well-structured document, usually published by an organization, to provide in-depth information about a specific solution.
A white paper is used to provide a good insight into the challenges for a specific problem and a proposed solution for the same.
Decentraland MANA White Paper
Decentraland MANA white paper will be going to provide you, all the information that is needed to get started with Decentraland (MANA), including the inspiration for creating, the problem it is trying to solve and the solution proposed by Decentraland (MANA).
Abstract
“ Decentraland is a virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Users can create, experience, and monetize content and applications. Land in Decentraland is permanently owned by the community, giving them full control over their creations. Users claim ownership of virtual land on a blockchain-based ledger of parcels.
Land owners control what content is published to their portion of land, which is identified by a set of cartesian coordinates (x,y). Contents can range from static 3D scenes to interactive systems such as games.
Land is a non-fungible, transferrable, scarce digital asset stored in an Ethereum smart contract. It can be acquired by spending an ERC20 token called MANA.
MANA can also be used to make in-world purchases of digital goods and services. People are spending increasingly more time in virtual worlds, for both leisure and work .
This occurs predominantly in 2D interfaces such as the web and mobile phones. But a traversable 3D world adds an immersive component as well as adjacency to other content, enabling physical clusters of communities.
Unlike other virtual worlds and social networks, Decentraland is not controlled by a centralized organization. There is no single agent with the power to modify the rules of the software, contents of land, economics of the currency, or prevent others from accessing the world.
This document lays out the philosophical underpinnings, technical foundations, and economic mechanisms of Decentraland.”
