Adidas has sold more than $23 million in NFTs on first day of launch of exclusive is NFT collection

Approx 30,000 exclusive “Into the Metaverse NFTS” were sold at a price of 0.2 ETH (~$800)

Adidas recently announced that it is launching NFT collection with exclusive streetwear drops.

On Friday, Adidas launched a new line of NFTs called “Into the Metaverse”. This line is aimed primarily at sports fans and allows access to an exclusive fan club.

Adidas also offered 20,000 of the NFTs in early access to people who own special Adidas Originals tokens, Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, GMoney tokens, Pixel Vault NFTs and Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFTs.

Adidas has partnered with Gmoney, BAYC etc, for the launch of its “Into the Metaverse NFTS”.

The first drop of the collection become available for purchase on the Adidas app and in select retail locations.

These NFTs provides owners rights to for physical goods, like a hoodie and the tracksuit worn by the Bored Ape that Adidas owns.

Physical merch supposed to become available next year and this is just the beginning of way to pre order for exclusive clothes.

Adidas appears to be taking an innovative approach, trying something that no one really ever experimented with before. It’s great to see them do this!
