Taylor Hawkins the drummer for the Foo Fighters has died at 50

Taylor Hawkins, the drummerfor the Foo Fighters who was a long-time member of the band, has died. The musician was 50 years old.

Hawkins had been on tour with the alternative rock band. He joined in 1997.

Hawkins has played with The Foo Fighters since 1997, three years after the band first began. He was set to play with them again on Friday in Bogota, Colombia.

It only fitted that Dave Grohl and dave hawkins' drumming styles complemented each other.  

Hawkins was the perfect partner to Grohl's singing, using his wild energy to complement the singer's great ballads with exciting drumming.
