Overwatch 2 Misconception

Overwatch 2 is less than a day away and there's a lot of misinformation out there, so I wanted to clear things up.

Overwatch 1 is not shutting down. It has been replaced by a newer, better game called Overwatch 2.

If you enjoyed the first series of Overwatch, then you'll be pleased with the way that Blizzard is continuously upgrading it.

You can upload your custom Warframe skins, sprays, emotes and more to the Warframe Marketplace.

You will keep all existing cosmetic items when going forward in the move to the F2P model.

Loot boxes, they will be included less prominently in game. Cosmetic items that players want to purchase can now be attained through either a new Battle Pass or personalized shop.

It will take time for new players to unlock all the heroes & be put into competitive matchmaking. The first 50 matches they play are meant to be learning games.

No one who played the original Overwatch is impacted. Anybody that had an account beforehand won't have to worry about this change

You will still be able to play all the heroes you want. Unlocking the three new levels is said to not be a difficult or long process.
