World’s first-ever SMS for Christmas, the simple “Merry Christmas” was sent in December 1992 by Neil Papworth, an employee of a British computer company.

A token will be sold at a live auction to the highest bidder guaranteeing its exclusive ownership. Vodafone has pledged not to produce any other versions of the NFT. In addition, there will be a replication of the first message, along with a visual recreation depicting what happened.
