NFT is the new hot topic, and every sports industry is trying to get a piece of it. Legia Warsaw, one of the top football teams from Poland, announced their partnership with Capital Block to create NFTs. This is only one piece of news, as several players and teams across the globe are using NFT to earn benefits and spread awareness. 

Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson is the very frost pro golfer with their own collection of NFTs. 2020 US open winner always showed his likeness towards the NFT market. He recently launched 5 rading cards as NFT. 4 of the cards had 18 copies each and one of them was just one single card. This is a unique card and has special benefits like a set of golf clubs, a meet and greet with the player, and a signed US open flag. The other 4 cards also have several other benefits to count. 

Serena Williams

Serena Williams is a powerful athlete on court and without any doubt is extremely loved off-court. Her well-loved persona is definitely one of the reasons why she can shine in the world of NFT. In January 2022, she joined Sorare, an NFT trading platform as a board member. 

Sorare is a crypto and NFT friendly fantasy sports platform. Here the users can play fantasy sports, purchase tokens, get crypto rewards, etc. this will help the platform to become popular among the US and women sports fans. 

Vinicius Junior

Vinicius junior or vin jr. is a start striker for real Madrid only at the age of 21. With his rising popularity and remarkable performance, it is only inevitable that he is showing interest in NFT and blockchain market.

He mentioned his entry into the NFT space by announcing the launch of trading cards for the buyers. These cards will focus on some special artworks and some moments from his game in this career to date. He also mentioned benefits to the buyers, one being a virtual FIFA game with Vinicius junior himself.

Charles Piutau 

Kiwi rugby player of Bristol Bears is one of the star performers of the British rugby union. He is not only a great sportsperson but also likes to extend a hand in development off-field. 

He recently launched an NFT platform called Ruggerz. The platform is created to engage more people and make them more aware of rugby as a game. He also mentioned that all the money collected from the sales of NFT would go to the Pacific rugby player’s welfare fund.

LeBron James

Though it is a well-known fact that several NBA stars are now n the NFT space and are actively taking part in the blockchain industry. LeBron James is one of the NBA players who use the Top Shot platform to sell NFT. 

Top Shot is the platform for NFT buying and trading by the NBA and has recently announced a sale of $230 million in 2021. One of the NFTs of LeBron James, where he is debunking, was sold for $208,000.
